Brown_and_EdahiroJunko Edahiro grew up in Tokyo, got married, graduated with a Master of Arts and followed her husband to the US, where she learned English well enough in two years to become an interpreter and translator.

In the following years, Junko translated about 20 books into Japanese, including almost all of famed environmentalist Lester Brown’s publications. Translating was, however, only the beginning of her journey.

Years later after becoming a mom, penning her own bestselling book,Get Up at Two in the Morning and You Can Do It All!, and still highly interested in the environmental movement, Junko established the news platform, Japan for Sustainability.

But she didn’t stop there… Junko went on to found several other initiatives, touching on the slow life movement, translation services for businesses working in sustainability, consulting services and much more!
